Pocahontas - Bernice Decker, 87, passed away Wednesday, September 22, 2010 at Flo \u0026 Phil Jones Hospice House. Born October 03, 1922 in Ravenden Springs to the late Walter and Nellie Guntharp. She is preceded in death by parents, husband Earl Hodge Decker, five brothers; Jack, Dailey, Jewell, Harry and Warren. Four sisters; Novell, Cathleen, Nova and Mabel. She is survived by son Bill and wife Mary Decker of Pocahontas. Daughter Elaine and husband Dr. Gary Buxton of Pocahontas. Three grandchildren; Chris, Dr. Gregory and David Buxton and three great grandchildren. Sister, Imogene Inness of Ravenden Springs. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 24, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. in the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Dr. Gary Buxton and Chris Button officiating. Burial will follow in Janes Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. prior to service also in the Chapel.
