Barbara Stout, 77, of Pocahontas, entered her heavenly home on Sunday, February 8, 2026, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Barbara was born on January 31, 1949, at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro. She graduated from Pocahontas High School and later became a Certified Nursing Assistant, where she enjoyed helping others achieve some normalcy in their lives. She loved the Lord and attended Pocahontas United Pentecostal Church in Pocahontas.

She was preceded in death by her husband, JR Stout.

She is survived by her children, Richard Hatfield and Florence Hatfield, her church family, and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 am, Thursday, February 12, 2026, with a funeral service to begin at 11:00 am, with Jerry Cochran and Michael Maupin officiating. All services will be held in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel, with burial to follow in the Masonic Cemetery.
