Barbara Ann Matthews, 73, of Pocahontas passed away Monday, November 21, 2022 at Pocahontas Healthcare and Rehab Center.

She was born June 25, 1949 in Keiser to the late Charlie Harrell and Bessie Wesson Dildine.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie and Bessie Dildine; husband, Sonny Matthews; great granddaughter, Mila Johnson; and siblings, Larry Dildine, Raymond Dildine, JL Dildine, and Geneva Atkins.

Barbara is survived by her son, Charlie Dildine; granddaughters, Heather (Matthew) Johnson, Andrea (Brian) Chesser, and Autumn Dildine; great grandchildren, Aubri, Madi, and Wesson Johnson, Brynlee Higginbotham, Taylon, Remi, and Easton Chesser; brother, Charles (Janie) Dildine; sisters, Billie Dildine and Lois Blackwell; multiple nieces and nephews, and many other relatives and friends.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2022 at 10 AM at Lawrence Memorial Park with Dan Avery officiating under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Animal Shelter.
