Walnut Ridge - Barbara Jean Kibby, 79, passed away Sunday, May 28, 2017 at Flo \u0026 Phil Jones Hospice House.
She was born February 10, 1938 in Pocahontas to the late Vernon and Maggie Smith Eads. She worked for many years at Jimco Lamp and Lightning Company. She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is also preceded in death by her husband, Neil "Pee-Wee" Kibby; a brother, Elmer G. Eads; four sisters, Alma Nelson, Furlee Todd, Cecil Fowler and Betty Kessler.
She is survived by her children, Gary Kibby and Gayle Pennington (Buddy) all of Jonesboro and Sharon Connolly of Bono; two brothers, Eli Eads (Pauline) and Lonnie Eads all of Pocahontas; a sister, Thelma Phillips of Pocahontas; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; seven great-great-grandchildren and many other close family and friends.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 pm Tuesday, May 30, 2017 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
A graveside service to celebrate her life will be 10:00 Wednesday, May 31, 2017 at Trinity Cemetery in Bono with Rev. Ken Stallings officiating.
