Barbara Jean Eveland, 82, of Delaplaine passed away Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at her daughter's home near Lafe.

She was born January 28, 1939 in Craighead County to the late Irven and Mamie Tinker Bell. She was a homemaker and of the Pentecostal belief.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Irven and Mamie Bell; her husband, Chacy Dean Eveland; three sisters, Pauline Grant, Maudie Grant, and Norma Jane Bell; and by an infant brother.

Barbara is survived by a daughter, Judy (Tim Hill) Eveland of Lafe; son, Michael (Joan) Eveland of Paragould; five grandchildren, Terry Eveland of Ohio, Anthony Eveland of Memphis, Tennessee, Tiffany Eveland of Nashville, Tennessee, Christy (Chris) Wegel of Piggott, and Candace (Trent Grimes) Eveland of Piggott; two great granddaughters, Presley and Annistyn Wegel of Piggott and a great grandson due in March; two sisters, Charline (Leon) Ellington of Imboden, and Shirley (Donald Roy) Gillean of Pocahontas; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 6-8 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Sunday, February 28, 2021 at 2 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Jerry Cochran officiating. Burial will follow in Jones Ridge Cemetery near Delaplaine.
