Pocahontas-Barbara Lea Barnes, 78, went to be with the Lord Sunday, March 30, 2014. Barbara was born March 11, 1936 to the late Walter and Iva Johnson Cox in Randolph County. She is survived by daughters Vickie (Benny) Halliburton of Maynard, Sherri (John) Walden of Pocahontas, grandsons Michael (Danette) Halliburton of Pocahontas, Grant Halliburton of Wichita, KS, great grandson Colten Halliburton and Special friend Jordan Agee. Preceded in death by her parents Walter and Iva Cox, husband Carroll "Bunk" Barnes, and brothers Calvin and Gary Cox. Barbara dedicated her life to her family. She was a devoted christian and will be missed by many. She loved her church family. Visitation will be Friday, April 4, 2014 from 1:00-2:00 P.M. at McNabb Funeral Home Chapel with Funeral service following at 2:00 P.M. with Nelson Henderson officiating. Burial will be at Randolph Memorial Gardens.
