Ayra Ann Nelson, 86, of Doniphan, MO, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022 at home.

Ayra was born April 21, 1936 in Memphis, TN to Luean and Gladys (Forrest) Roark and is a member of the Assembly of God Church in Doniphan, MO.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Billy "Dud" Nelson; brother, Harold Roark; sister, Linda Kay Carmickle; and daughter-in-law, Linda Nelson

Ayra is survived by sons, Ronnie Nelson of Doniphan, MO, Gary (Ellen) Nelson of Gatewood, MO, and Richard (Vicki) Nelson of Maynard; daughter, Pamela (Bill) Shelley of Doniphan, MO; grandchildren, Andy Nelson, Kristy Wright, Becky Shock, Melissa Hudson, Deana Barton, Leslie Breuning, Brian Nelson, and Kaylene Shelley; sister, Phyllis Siegler of Benton, AR; 22 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Monday, May 9, 2022 from 12–2 PM with a funeral service beginning at 2 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with Joshua Dement officiating.  Burial will follow at Ingram Cemetery in Supply.
