Audry Ida Palmer, 92, of Pocahontas passed away Friday, November 22, 2019 at the Community Compassion Center of Searcy.
She was born July 26, 1927 in Haynesville, LA to the late Nelson and Lillie Dykes Smith. She worked for Brown Shoe Company, was a member of Pocahontas First Assembly of God, and was an accomplished seamstress.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Edward Palmer; one brother and one sister.
She is survived by two daughters, Delores Palmer of Pocahontas and Vickie Johnson of Cherokee Village; three grandchildren, Mark (Lindy) Johnson of Cave City, Aaron Johnson of Bull Shoals, and Sarah (Lonnie) Hansen of Little Rock; eight great grandchildren; one sister, Avis Roberts of Texas; multiple nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
Visitation will be Wednesday, November 27, 2019 from 9 AM-10 AM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home with a funeral following at 10 AM with Terry Miller officiating. Burial will follow in Masonic Cemetery.
