Lake City- Audrey Ruth Weinel, 88, after a long illness passed away January 8, 2016 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born January 3, 1928, to the late Robert and Mae Dover Evans in Imboden, VA. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Survivors include her daughter, Theresa Spataro, son, Benjamin Smith and daughter, Claudette Boness (Michael) all of Lake City; grandchildren, Kelley Byrne, Ashley Byrne both of Lake City, Jonathan Bulow of Somerset, OH, Taylor Green, Megan Boness and James Boness all of Lake City; great grandchildren, Daniel Byrne, Brock Bulow, Kasen Boness, Ava Green, Bentley Williams, Liam Boness and Anna Mae Bulow. Mrs. Weinel was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Robert Daniel Weinel in 2001; son, John Smith; brother, Edward Evans and three sisters, Mary Ellen Davis, Jeanette Zenith and Mildred Evans. Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Services conducted by Gregg Funeral Home of Monette
