Audrey Jackson Rapert, 89, of Maynard passed away Saturday, March 23, 2013, surrounded by her family at the Randolph County Nursing Home. Audrey was born January 25, 1924, in Poyner, Missouri to the late Troy and Minnie Jackson. Audrey was a longtime Maynard resident where she was an active parent and grandparent. She was a lifetime active member of the Maynard Church of Christ. Audrey worked as a Registered Nurse until the age of 77 caring for patients in Pocahontas, Jonesboro, Corning, Doniphan, and Poplar Bluff. She was greeted to her heavenly home by the love of her life and husband of 67 years, E.M. (McRae) Rapert. She was also preceded in death by her parents Troy and Minnie Jackson, a brother, Chloe Jackson, a sister, Fleta Odom and a son-in-law, Jim Drollinger. She is survived by four children: Judy Drollinger of Wappapello, MO, Jacque (Don) Steele of Pocahontas, Victor (Chenoa) Rapert of Maynard and Janis (Mike) Ulmer of Stokes; grandchildren Sonja Miller, Shannon Steele, Sierra Engelmann, Heath Ulmer, Sarah Mustread, Rockey Rapert, Dustin Ulmer, Ryan Ulmer, Sabrina Ferrell, Cord Rapert, Justin, Caleb, and Landon Stephens, Tori, Laura and Kate Junkersfeld; twenty great-grandchildren and two great-grandsons due this summer; a special niece, Shelby Roberts and her family of Maynard; two sisters-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 26, at the Chapel of McNabb Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. with Kenneth Gossett officiating. Burial will follow at the Northside Cemetary in Maynard. Pallbearers will be grandsons: Shannon Steele, Heath Ulmer, Rockey Rapert, Dustin Ulmer, Ryan Ulmer and Cord Rapert. Honorary pallbearers will be nephews Jim Bob Jackson, Ronnie Jackson, and Carroll Venable. Visitation will be Monday from 5-8 at McNabb Funeral Home in Pocahontas.
