LITTLE ROCK-Aster Johnston, 75, died Saturday at UAMS. She was born April 2, 1933 and was the daughter of the late William C. and Grace Marie Hord Ulmer. A brother, William Thomas, Sr. also preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, James W. Johnston, a son, Kevin Johnston and wife, Diana, of Little Rock, two daughters, Felicia Borin and husband, Don, of Columbus, GA and LeAnn Ruddick and husband, Pat, of Marion, ten grandchildren, Chayne, Seth, Alisha, Cody, Will, Linley, Aspen, Beau, Breck and Cole, one great-grandson, Camp, a brother, Bryn Ulmer, thee sisters, Dexter Ulmer, Kathleen Ulmer and Pat Koons, all of Pocahontas.. Services will be held at 1pm Wednesday at McNabb Funeral Home in Pocahontas with interment following in Brockett Cemetery. Visitation will be 5-7 Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Southern Christian Childrens\u0027 Home at Morrilton or the Paragould Childrens Homes at Paragould.
