Obituary

Mrs. Arlene Marie Davis of Harrisburg, departed this life Saturday, May 30, 2015, in Jonesboro, at the age of 54. She was born September 29, 1960 in Trumann, the daughter of the late Levi Clifton Wallace and Lela Frances Miller Wallace. Arlene was a member of the First Assembly of God in Harrisburg and enjoyed spending time with family, gardening, flowers, and watching hummingbirds. She loved shopping and photography and going to church. She never missed any of her grandson's life activities. She was employed at Frito Lay in Jonesboro. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Lonnie Wallace and John Wallace, and a sister, Edith Hobbs. She is survived by her husband Donald Ray Davis of the home, two sons, Donald Ray Davis II (Christy), and Michael Anthony Davis, both of Harrisburg, two brothers, Walter Wallace of Beeville, TX and David Wallace of Oklahoma City, OK, one sister Carol Whalen of Kansas City, KS, one grandson, Donald Ray (Trey) Davis III, of Harrisburg, and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 3, 2015, at 2:00 p.m., at the First Assembly of God in Harrisburg, with Rev. Eddie Passmore officiating. Pallbearers will be Clifford Clover, Roger Brown, Gene Donaldson, Kevin Lacy, Jason Wright, and Billy Wright. Honorary pallbearers are Trey Davis and Anthony Soto. Friends may visit at Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Tuesday evening, 6:00-8:00 p.m.
