Jonesboro- Anuel Clyde "AC" McIntire, 80, passed away Wednesday, September 2, 2015 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House. He was born September 1, 1935 in Mountain View to the late James and Bertie Richardson McIntire. AC served his country proudly in the United States Army. He retired from City Water and Light and loved taking care of wild life. He will be remembered as a loving father and grandfather. He is survived by his children, Ginger Specking (David) of Lafe, Gina Cupp of Jonesboro, Girane Mangum (Robert) of Strawberry, Robert McIntire of Mobile, AL, Kathleen Smith (Richard) of Mountain Home, Nancy Witcher of Neosho, MO and Alex Witcher of Jonesboro; two brothers, J. T. McIntire of Conway and Bill McIntire (Diane) of Vilonia; two sisters, Ova Lea Leighton of Conway and Bobbie Brown (Bob) of Belleville, MI; eleven grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie McIntire and two sisters, Edith Craig and Ineze Courtney. A celebration of his life will be 2:00 pm Friday, September 4, 2015 at Gregg - Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Paul Craig officiating. Burial will follow at Mt Zion Cemetery near Walcott. The family will receive friends from noon until time of service Friday at the funeral home. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Roy Gottfried, Robert Mangum, Timothy Berry, Gary Craig, Keith Livesay and Jaret Orrick.
