Anthony "Tony" Dean Smith passed from this life on August 14, 2026, at St. Bernard Medical Center. He was born September 21, 1956 in Lepanto, Arkansas to the late Claude and Wilma Dunaway Smith. Tony was a farmer and a veteran. He liked to fish, go camping and spending time with his family. He enjoyed watching movies, eating M&Ms and his "2.99" chips.  He is preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, William Huey Smith, Robert "Jitter" Smith, Donald O'Neal Smith and Claude Raymond Smith. Two sisters, Evelyn Clyte Smith and Kathy Lynn Smith.

Tony is survived by 3 sisters, Kay Faulkner of Harrisburg, Rose Marie Cockell of PA, and Phillis Ann Smith of Westville, OK. Two granddaughters, Nikki McCorkle of Batesville, AR and Kendra Kelley of Mammoth Springs, AR. One grandson, Alexander Kelley of Mammoth Springs, AR. Six great grandchildren, Alice, Ava, Avery and Ariel McCorkle of Batesville, AR, Lilly and Jaxx Holmes of Thayer, MO. Numerous nieces and nephews.
