Anthony "Tony" Dean Smith passed from this life on August 13, 2026, at St. Bernard Medical Center. He was born September 21, 1956 in Lepanto, Arkansas to the late Claude and Wilma Dunaway Smith.. Tony was a farmer and a veteran. He liked to fish, go camping and spending time with his family. He enjoyed watching movies, eating M&Ms and his "2.99" chips.

Tony is survived by his loving wife Carolyn Sue Hamilton Smith, of the home, his daughter, Amanda Kelly, two granddaughters, Nikki McCorkle of Batesville, AR and Kendra Kelley of Mammoth Springs, AR. One grandson, Alexander Kelley of Mammoth Springs, AR. Six great grandchildren, Alice, Ava, Avery and Ariel McCorkle of Batesville, AR, Lilly and Jaxx Holmes of Thayer, MO., three sisters, Kay Faulkner of Harrisburg, Rose Marie Cockell of PA, and Phillis Ann Smith of Westville, OK., numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents, 4 brothers, William Huey Smith, Robert "Jitter" Smith, Donald O'Neal Smith and Claude Raymond Smith. Two sisters, Evelyn Clyte Smith and Kathy Lynn Smith.
