Annitta Jane Cheney of Mountain View, Arkansas departed this life Tuesday August 11, 2020 at her home at the age of 73.
She was born September 30, 1947 in Harrisburg, Arkansas to the late David Davis and Mary Guthrie Davis. Annitta married Roger Cheney on October 27, 1991 and they spent 29 years together.
Annitta was a 1965 graduate of Weiner high school. After the completion of school she went on to own and operate her own beauty shop. Annitta began work at Acne Frame until she decided to be a homemaker. She loved her friends and family. Annitta spent her free time quilting, sewing, and knitting for all her loved ones. She was a faithful servant of God and served at the Concord Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her father, David Davis and grandson, Tyler Hill.
She is survived by her husband, Roger Cheney of Mountain View, Arkansas, her mother, Mary Davis of Mountain View, Arkansas. Two stepsons, Terry Cheney of Jonesboro, Arkansas and Chris Cheney of Bald Knob, Arkansas. Five grandchildren Dale Cheney of Jonesboro, Arkansas, Brittney Taylor of Ozark, Arkansas, Tyler Wade Gardner of Searcy, Arkansas, Dustin Gardner of Bald Knob, Arkansas, and Allen Cheney of Jonesboro, Arkansas. Three great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, August 14, 2020 at Fisher Cemetery at 11 a.m.
