Jonesboro- Annie Mary Ransone, 87, passed away Saturday, February 29, 2020 at NEA Baptist Hospital.

She was born June 30, 1932 in Cash to the late Ed and Cora Hamilton. She was a floor supervisor for Frolic Footwear in Jonesboro for forty years. She also enjoyed being a homemaker and spending time with her family. Mrs. Ransone was a member of the County Line Church of Christ.

She is survived by her children, Norman Ransone of Fisher, Renee Portzen of Illinois and Lisa Holderfield of Valley View; four sisters, Greathel Turner and Bobbie Harrison both of Jonesboro, Betty Spencer of Bay and Brittie McKinney of Rockford, Illinois; five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Ransone; two sisters, Marzell Benjamen and Patty Furnish and three brothers, Bill Hamilton, Hi Hamilton and Jim Hamilton.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 pm, Tuesday, March 3, 2020 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

A graveside service will be 11:00 am Wednesday, March 4, 2020 at McDaniel Cemetery with Allen Ashlock officiating. Interment will follow.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Steve Hurt, Galen Ransone, Larry Ransone, Roy Frazier, Alan Hamilton and Paul Harrison.
