Pocahontas- Anna Mae Carter, 93, went to be with the Lord on February 7, 2017.

Anna Mae was born October 16, 1923 in O'Kean, AR to Albert Enoch and Effie Bruton. She was married to the late Willard Carter. She was a beloved member of the community. She was always helping others, both on her own and while working at Black River Area Development (BRAD). She was a wonderful Aunt that made you feel like you were the center of her universe when you were spending time with her.

She is survived by sister-in-law Joyce Bruton and several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Willard Carter; brothers, Ernest Bruton, Darrell Bruton, Melvin Wilson; and sister, Edith Jones.

A graveside service will be held Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Randolph Memorial Gardens at 10 am with Adam Bruton officiating. Arrangements under direction of McNabb Funeral Home.
