Paragould- Anna Christene Bibb, 97, passed away on November 3, 2026. Born on January 29, 1929, in Timbo, Arkansas, she was the daughter of the late Garland and Gracie Lee Guffey Shannon.

Anna was a homemaker who devoted her life to her family and friends. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother whose kindness and steadfast love touched everyone who knew her. She enjoyed spending her free time playing Solitaire, working crossword puzzles, and coloring, finding joy in life's simple pleasures. She was a member of the Grace Temple Missionary Baptist Church of Paragould.

Anna shared 49 wonderful years of marriage with her beloved husband, Richard J. K. Bibb, who preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda McConnaughey and husband Mike of Paragould,; grandchildren, Aaron Hathcock and wife Tonia of Jonesboro, Amanda Reaves and husband Brian of Batesville, Chris McConnaughey and wife Magen of Shawnee, Kansas, and Staci Graber and husband Josh of Garden, Kansas. She is also survived by her great-grandchildren, Lauren Alonzo and husband Ethan, Ashley Hathcock, Annabelle Reece Dobbins, Spencer Reaves and wife Kaci, Austin Reaves, Kirsten McConnaughey, Chase McConnaughey, Preston Graber, Naomi Graber, Makenna Graber, and Lydia Graber; and great-great-grandchildren, Asher Shaddock, Zayn Alonzo, and Ruby Reaves.

The family extends a special thank you to the caregivers and staff of Green House Cottage of Belle Meade at the Smalling House, and the staff at NEA hospital Five West for their compassionate care and support.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 7, 2026, at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Royce Boling officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will follow in Macey Cemetery near Monette.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Aaron Hathcock, Brian Reaves, Stephen Pace, Jerry Halsey Jr, Jeff Tabor, and Sean Williams.

Anna's legacy of love, faith, and devotion to family will be cherished and remembered always.
