Obituary
Rome, Georgia - Anna Jo Barker Gale, born October 19, 1927, of Rome, Ga., formerly of Swifton, Arkansas, departed this life on Sunday, July 26, 2020.
She is survived by her daughter, Rome attorney, Barbara J. Gale; grandsons, Loren Henley and Michael Little; great-grandchildren, Liam, Greyson and Ryleigh Henley; sister Julia B. Keedy, of Cash, Arkansas; numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Marion L. Gale; parents Jess and Deasy Barker; brothers, Joseph, Jesse, and Clarence Barker; sisters, Cilla Huskey, Minerva Thompson, Bertha Romine, IV Koller, and Syble Burnham.
Services will be held Friday, July 31, 2020, at 10:00 A.M. at the Swifton First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Johnny Thomas officiating with burial to follow at the Swifton Cemetery under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any contributions be sent in her honor to the Swifton Cemetery Association, 317 Main Street, Swifton, Arkansas 72471.
