Anitia Mae Brown Simpson, 81, of Mammoth Springs, Arkansas, formerly of Pocahontas, passed away November 1, 2025, at White River Medical Center in Batesville.
Anitia was born September 29, 1943, to James and Wynnette Brown of Walnut Ridge, Arkansas. She worked at TRW Cinch in Pocahontas until retirement.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Wynnette Brown; her husband Don Duel Simpson; grandson, Scott Allen Simpson; sisters, Virginia Brown and Mary Manns; brother, Jim Brown and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Anita is survived by her children, James David (Helen) Simpson of Pocahontas, William Randall Simpson of Mammoth Springs, and Phillip Wayne Simpson of Mammoth Springs; grandchildren, Hollie (Shannon) Eveland, Coleton (Kristin) Simpson of Hoxie, Logan Simpson of Walnut Ridge, Brooke Simpson of Jonesboro, Tristan (Alex) Williams of Walnut Ridge and Seth (Felicia) Simpson of Pocahontas. She also leaves behind great-grandchildren, Jake, Chase, Alivia, Brenden, Jewelie, Axel, Julianna, Bronner, Aria, Landon, Kayden, Scotlynn, and Brady; siblings, Gene Brown, Janette Britt, and Wanda Bennett along with many other family and friends.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, November 8th, 2025, at 4:00 PM, at Great Harvest Church, with Brother Jeff Hamm officiating.
All family and friends are warmly invited to attend.
