Obituary

Jonesboro- Anita Janice Sefers, 85, passed away Friday, February 10, 2017 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.

She was born March 23, 1931 in Tilton to the late Malcolm and Annabel Smith. Mrs. Sefers was a bank teller for many years and a member of the First Baptist Church since 1958. She will be remembered as a loving daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend.

She is also preceded in death by her husband, Charlie C. Sefers Jr. and a sister, Wanda Dunn.

She is survived by two daughters and their husbands, Pam and Terry Baker of Pocahontas and Nancy and Brock Lewandoski of Little Rock; a brother, Bryce (Peggy) Smith of Wynne; four grandchildren, Tobin (Tiffany) Baker of Jonesboro, Jordan Baker of New York City, Sarah (Ben) Janelle of Russellville and Blake Lewandoski of Nashville, TN; three great-grandchildren, Elijah, Violet and Seth Janelle.

A celebration of her life will be 12:30 pm Monday, February 13, 2017 at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Bruce Venable officiating. Burial will be private.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 4:00 pm Sunday, February 12, 2017 at Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers are Johnnie Rogers, Donald Timms, Bruce Poleet, James Dunivan and David Ozier.
