Paragould- Angelina Dale "Angie" DeFries, 72, passed away Tuesday, December 12, 2023 at St. Bernards Medical Center.

She was born May 22, 1951 in Lake City to the late Floyd and Lucille McFarlin McLaughlin. She enjoyed working in her yard, watching true crime movies and loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Angie is survived by her children, Gena Parrish (Lonnie) and Jeremy DeFries all of Paragould; brother, Edwin McLaughlin of St. Claire, MO;  grandchildren, Shelby Greenway, Drew Parrish, Madison Parrish, Carson DeFries, Hadlee DeFries and Jalen DeFries; and great-grandchildren, Kensleigh Burch and Sylas Warren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Gale McLaughlin, Jerry McLaughlin, Alvie McLaughlin and William "Boogie" McLaughlin.
