Jonesboro- Andrew Joe Keith Petrek, 68, passed away Monday, August 12, 2019 at Flo \u0026 Phil Jones Hospice House.

He was born October 11, 1950 in Hallettsville, Texas to the late Joseph and Verna Hooten Petrek. He was an independent homebuilder for many years. He worked for B.B Vance and Sons and worked at Jonesboro High School Vo-tech teaching building trades. Keith also worked at Harley Davidson of Jonesboro in various positions for over 11 years. He enjoyed riding motorcycles and playing music. He was the drummer for the West Finch Blues Band. He also liked to hunt and fish. Keith loved spending time with his family and was married to the love of his life for thirty-nine years.

He is survived by two brothers, Thomas Petrek of Pointblank, Texas, Timothy Petrek of Moulton, Texas; nieces and nephews, Josh and Jennifer Bowman and Audra and Brian Earnheart all of Jonesboro, Clare Barlow of Phoenix, AZ, Lora Barlow of Morgantown, WV and Katie Barlow of Beebe; great-nieces and great-nephews, Raegan and Olivia Bowman and Weston and Marshall Earnheart.

He was also preceded in death by his wife, Pamela Kay Barlow Petrek and a brother, Robert Petrek.

Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Friday, August 16, 2019 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be 10:00 am, Saturday, August 17, 2019 at Pine Log Cemetery with Pastor Warner Allen officiating under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jeff Ryan, Larry Rothgery, Bryan Marsh, Dr. Jay Lee, Andy Fulkerson, Terry Carter and Mike Tuseth.

Lasting memorials may be sent to St. Jude Children Research Hospital.
