Mrs. Amy Elizabeth Yates of Cherry Valley, departed this life Tuesday Night, April 7, 2015, near Harrisburg, at the age of 41. She was born November 12, 1973 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the daughter of Charles David Sills and Mary Ann Taylor Sills. Amy loved flowers and painting. She also enjoyed going to the lake. She had an associate's degree and also a degree in cosmetology. She is survived by her parents, David and Mary Sills, one daughter, Taylor Yates, one son, Luke Yates, one sister, Lauri Stricklin (Steve), all of Cherry Valley, one brother, Chris Sills (Valerie), of Jonesboro, and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. A Memorial Service is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. Thursday, April 9, 2015, at the Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel. Friends may visit with the family, Thursday, 4:00-7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
