Alvin Glynn "Al" Cook, aged 73, passed away Friday, October 10, 2025, at his home.

He was born February 4, 1952, in Winnsboro, Louisiana to the late Harvey and Pearlie Elizabeth Holley Cook. He was also preceded in death by his twin brother, Aubry Lynn Cook.

Al loved to dance and was known by many as Elvis. He was of the Christian faith.

He is survived by his sister, Carolyn Sue Cook-Mullens, several nieces and nephews, special friends Jackie Russell, Ellie Mae Russell and Susanne and David Belk and many other friends.

A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday November 7 at Pine Log Cemetery with David Belk officiating. Arrangements were entrusted to Gregg-Langford-Bookout Funeral Home.
