Alton Edward Malin, 78, of Imboden departed this life on Monday, April 13, 2026, at St. Bernard Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Alton was born on February 28, 1948, to William Edward Malin and Pearl Levada (Lee) Malin in Wynne, Arkansas. William was a farmer and enjoyed the outdoors.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Pearl Levada Malin; sons, Everett (Bo) Malin and Daniel Malin; brother, Allen Malin and nephew, Christopher Looney.

He is survived by his father, William Edward Malin of Imboden; sisters, Nonna (Bill) Davis of Imboden, and Norma (John) Ellsworth of Corning; sister-in-law, Cora Malin; grandchildren, Chase Hunter Malin, Hannah Jo Malin, and Jazmine Emlee Dahm; great-grandchildren, Carter Dahm, Mason Askeland, and Zaylee Askeland along with many other relatives and friends.

Cremation has been chosen as final disposition.
