Pocahontas- Alta Fern Crawford, 80, passed away September 18, 2018 at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro.

Alta was born February 12, 1938 in Dalton, Arkansas to the late Lemuel Howard and Vada Rice Hogue.

She is survived by grandchildren Megan Crawford and Jackie Corea, 3 great- grandchildren Noah Allen, Abby, Gunnar, sister Peggy Cook, daughter-in-law Julie Crawford and her fur baby Buddy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband John Ollie Crawford, son John Allen Crawford, sister Mary Sue Blackwell and a brother Noble Hogue.

Celebration of her life will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 22, 2018 at McNabb Funeral Home Chapel with Carl Massey officiating. Interment will follow at Will White Cemetery. The family will receive friends and family from 12:00 p.m. until time of service Saturday.
