Jonesboro- Alpha Pauline Morrison, 98, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 at Flo and Phil Jones Hospice House.

She was born December 29, 1918 in Williford to the late Lee and Effie Davis Fletcher. She was a homemaker and a faithful member of the Mt Pisgah Baptist Church for over seventy-five years.

She is survived by her children, Jane Finch of Clover Bend, Martha Bridger and Anna Williams both of Jonesboro, Dana Sisson (Robert) of Avondale, AZ, Paula Cochran (Gary) of Jonesboro, D. C. Morrison (Dr. Debbie) of Little Rock, Jim Morrison of Jonesboro, Marshall Morrison (Kathy) of Greenfield, Vance Morrison (Karen) and Mike Morrison (Kandie) all of Jonesboro; twenty-five grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Dan Morrison; two sisters; three brothers; a granddaughter; a grandson and a grandson-in-law.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 8:00 pm, Wednesday, June 14, 2017 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

A celebration of her life will be 10:00 am, Thursday, June 15, 2017 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Stan Ballard officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are her sons.
