Jonesboro- Alma Louise Cook, 90, passed away Monday, December 14, 2020 at Ridgecrest Health and Rehab.

She was born March 17, 1930 in Bay to the late Richard and Hattie Mae Holt. Mrs. Louise was a devoted wife, loving mother and granny who enjoyed making her husband and family a loving home. She was a faithful member of the Jonesboro Worship Center. She loved her family and loved to cook for them. She enjoyed her church family, gospel and country music. She also enjoyed having visitors and had homemade desserts waiting on the counter for them to have something sweet.

She is survived by two sons, Larry Cook and David Cook (Tammy) all of Jonesboro; grandchildren, Kelly Cook Kasserman (Bobby) of Paragould, Kevin Cook (Angie) of Brookland, Matt Cook of Jonesboro and Nicole Cook Strange (Scott) of Paoli, Indiana; siblings, Minnie Conrad and Richard Holt both of Trumann, Lilly Noles of Walnut Ridge and Betty Jo Broglin of Benton Harbor, Michigan; eight great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She also preceded in death by her husband, Steve Matthew Cook; siblings, Son Holt, Earl Ray Holt, James Holt, Charles William Holt and Nelly Hamby.

The visitation will be from Noon until 1:00 p.m. Thursday, December 17, 2020 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.

A celebration of her life will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at the Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Marty Spurlock officiating. Interment will follow at Jonesboro Memorial Park Cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Matt Cook, Kevin Cook, Bobby Kasserman, Wake Kasserman, Ethan Cook, Scott Strange and Caleb Cook.

All attendees must wear masks and observe social distancing guidelines.
