Allie Lucille Brown, 78, of Pocahontas departed this life on Monday, January 13, 2025, at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House in Jonesboro.

Allie was born in Fifty-Six, Arkansas to the late Isaac Newton Russell and Rosetta Martin Russell Jones on January 1, 1947. She was a long-time employee of ESNA. She was a member of the Maynard Church of Christ.

Allie was preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Rose Ray, Pearl Stephens, Ola France, Angela Lynn Russell, Bill Russell, Bob Russell, Charlie Russell, Leon Russell and Edsell Russell.

She is survived by her husband, Johnny Ray Brown; children, Katrina (Terry) Weir of Canton, MS., and Johnny Jr. (Tara) Brown of Pocahontas; grandson, Garrett Weir of Canton, MS.; sister, Margie Heard of Velvet Ridge, Arkansas along with many other nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends. Allie also leaves behind her beloved dog Mazie.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 – 6:00 PM on Wednesday, January 15, 2025, in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. The funeral service will be held Thursday, January 16, 2025, at 10:00 AM with Ligie Waddell officiating at the Maynard Church of Christ. A burial will follow in the Northside Cemetery.
