Obituary

Allen Morris Milligan, 76, of Pocahontas departed this life on January 19, 2026, at Baptist Health Medical Center in Conway.

Allen was born in Chicago, Illinois, to Walter Roe Milligan and Leona Swiderski Walters on May 9, 1949.

He was known as "Elvis," "Pawpaw," or "Pops." He was a proud veteran of the Air Force, serving from 1968-72. If it was something that could be done outside, he was doing it, from fishing, hunting, and mowing the lawn (or mowing every yard on the street) to just hanging out in the shop with the neighbor. If you were not finding him in the yard strolling around on his scooter, he would be working on his model train set or putting together his model airplanes.

He loved his Looney Tunes, dinosaur and nature documentaries, and Smurfs. Shopping online became a favorite pastime for him, and it was never known what would come in mail next. He was a proud father to all of his daughters and those few extra "kids" that he had. His grandchildren were his pride and joy, and he cherished every minute that he got to spend with them. He was very thoughtful, giving, and stubborn by nature and was loved by anyone who got to meet and know him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Leona Milligan; brothers Walter "Jr" and Rodger Milligan; sister Cindy Milligan; and grandson Johnathan Sipes, Jr.

He is survived by his children Cindy (Christopher) Davidson, Malinda Milligan, Angela (Brittany) Milligan, and Jessica (favorite headache) Morrison; grandchildren Cole and Caira Davidson, Erika Morrison, Chris and Hunter Kiker, Donna Richardson, Adam Baucom, and Emily Sipes; siblings Larry Milligan, Victoria Mealer, and Lisa Drummond; and mother to his children, Janice Milligan; and many more that he counted as family and dear friends to him.

Honorary pallbearers are Chris and Hunter Kiker, Brett Brewer, Douglas Hutsell, Ralph Schrader, and Kaiden Croney.

Cremation has been chosen and a Memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
