Jonesboro – Mrs. Alieen Hall Lewis, 95, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2022 at the Flo & Phil Jones Hospice House.

She was born at Otwell on July 21, 1926 to the late Harry and Bessie Hall.  She was a graduate of Weiner High School in 1944 and was a homemaker and member of the Otwell Christian Church. She was a devoted wife and mother who loved to cook and spoil her great-grandchildren.

She is survived by a son, Jerry D. Lewis; a daughter, Connie (Raymon) Covey; a beloved sister, Lazelle Hansen; two loving grandchildren, Tracy (Rockey) Griggs and Eric (Faith) Schilly; three precious great-grandchildren, Whitley Griggs and her fiancé Kaden Tacker, Tanner Griggs and Beau Schilly and several nieces, nephews and other family members.

She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty-five years, Jurl Lee Lewis; her siblings, Margaret Benham, Ruth Brown, Stella Neely, Meredith Hall, Willard Hall, Harold Hall, James Hall, Melvin Hall and Harry Hall, Jr. and other family, Kenneth and Lorene Lewis and Johnnie and Bernadine Lewis.

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 13, 2022 at McDaniel Cemetery at Valley View with Jim Roberts officiating under the direction of Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home. Visitation will be at 10:30 a.m. at the cemetery.

Honored to serve as pallbearers are Jerry Lewis, Raymon Covey, Eric Schilly, Beau Schilly, Rockey Griggs, Tanner Griggs and Kaden Tacker.

A big thank you to St. Bernards Villa for making her last few months enjoyable. Also thank you to Dr. Scott Dorroh at the Fowler Cancer Center, his entire staff and Dr. Ray Hall and his staff at the NEA Clinic for the wonderful care given to her.
