Mr. Alfred A. Johnson, of Harrisburg, departed this life Wednesday, September 12, 2012, at the St. Bernard\u0027s Medical Center in Jonesboro, at the age of 97. He was born October 17, 1914 in Smithville, the son of Tobe H. Johnson and Julie Mae Bolding Johnson. Mr. Johnson was one of the few remaining WWII veterans, having served in the U.S. Army.
