Jonesboro- Alene Jewell Coy, 94, entered into her Heavenly home Friday, March 15, 2024.

She was born on August 26, 1929 in Memphis to the late Walter and Laura Johnson Hall. Mrs. Coy was a longtime member of Wood Street Assembly of God Church in Jonesboro, where she enjoyed being a door greeter for many years. She also loved being with her family and the outdoors.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Sammie Coy; her foster parents, Winfrey and Mary Crain; three brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by a son, Ronnie Coy of Jonesboro; daughter, Laneta Thompson (Coy) of Trumann; grandchildren, Brian Browder, Sam Coy (Carla), Stacie Carlyle (Gerald) and Stephanie Robertson (Mike); great-grandchildren, Abbie Hood (Josh), Maddie Browder, Eryn Coy, Paige Strode (Saben), Kaylyn Coy and Nick Coy; great-great-granddaughters, Aspen and Ronni Kate Stephens; niece, Janet Hall McGregor and nephew, Dwight Hall.

No services are planned. She was entrusted to Gregg- Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
