Mr. Albert V. Tatyrek of Harrisburg, AR departed this life Monday, November 16, 2020 at Flo and Phil Hospice House at the age of 73.
He was born May 8, 1947 in Elk City, Oklahoma to the late Albert Tatyrek and Bonnie Hilderbrand Tatyrek. He married Marie Tatyrek on 1966 and they shared 54 years together.
Albert was an Air Frame Air Craft mechanic and pilot. He was a mechanic at a Texas Army Base for several years. Albert worked for PHI Helicopters as a test cell engineer which was a very dangerous job. He then moved to Hawaii where he was the director of operations for Pappilon Helicopter. Eventually moved back to Houston where he retired from Houston Helicopter. Albert enjoyed working on engines and tinkering in the shop. He also loved to remodel and rebuild houses. He was a member of The Church of God Prophecy when he was able to attend. Albert loved his wife and children very much. He showed that through his hard work for them.
He is survived by his wife Marie Tatyrek, his son Albert L. Tatyrek (Olivia), his daughter Marcia Tatyrek all of Harrisburg, AR, his daughter in law Sharon Tatyrek Huggins (Lloyd) of Santa Fe, TX, his grandchildren Scott, Justin (Coley), Brittany (Daniel), Heather, and Jacob all of Harrisburg, his grandchildren Logan and Connor of Texas, and his great grandchildren Cash and Cooper of Texas.
He is preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral Services are set for Friday, November 20, 2020 at 2 p.m. at Gregg-Weston Funeral Home Chapel.
