Albert Dewayne Blount, 79, of Overland, MO passed away April 29, 2019 at DePaul Hospital, St. Louis, MO.

Big Al was an adventuress man with a very bold sense of humor. He was born in Pocahontas, Arkansas on February 12, 1940, a son of the late Albert Blount and Mildred (Crays) Blount. He had one Brother, Billy Blount. His sense of adventure started with traveling the world but led him to become a crop duster in the 1980\u0027s. On any given day he loved to get lost in the woods and take photos of the sights around him. He lived for making people laugh, mainly his beautiful late wife, Carolyn Blount. Al loved spending time with his family. He cherished sitting around the table telling stories with all of his children and grandchildren.

He was preceded by his wife of 60 years, Carolyn (Rowland) Blount and brother, Billy Blount.

He is survived by his three children, Terecia Piel and son-in-law Vincient Piel, Edward Dewayne Blount and daughter-in-law, Janet Blount and Connie (Blount) Degregorio; three grandchildren, Kelsey Chott, Allison Chott and Joey Kenney; and one great-granddaughter, Brynlee Kenney.

The family will have a visitation and memorial service on Sunday, May 5th at McNabb Funeral Home. The visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 P.M with the Memorial service beginning at 2:00 P.M.
