POCAHONTAS-Agnes L. Hart, 98, died Thursday at Randolph Home. She was born September 13, 1908 in Pittsfield, IL to the late George Washington and Ida Rosella Howe Garrett. On October 2, 1929 she married Virgil Hart who preceded her in death in March 1979. Three brothers, Russell Garrett, Oren Garrett and George Garrett, and three sisters, Mae Davidson, Bertha Straube and Lydia Garrett, also preceded her in death. Mrs. Hart was employed by Brown Shoe Company in Pocahontas for thirty-four years, retiring in 1972. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and visiting with her friends. She was a loving wife and a very special aunt to all her nieces and nephews. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Pocahontas. Survivors include three nieces, Nancy Schramm of Las Vegas, NV, Judy Rose of Quincy, IL and Linda Sederwall of North Hollywood, CA; five nephews, Ed Garrett of Lincoln, NE, Roger Riggs of Springfield, IL, Richard Sederwall of Quincy, IL, Robert Sederwall of Springfield, MO and John Sederwall of Akron, OH. She is also survived by nine great-nieces, Judy Harrison of Greenville, IL, Cheryl Dreon of Marion, IL, Sarah Rose of Quincy, IL, Lori Breugmann of Arvada, CO, Lisa Crastina of Ozark, MO, Krista Sederwall of Virginia Beach, VA, Laura Riggs of Springfield, IL, Dawn Rocheleau of Las Vegas and Tami Garrett of Millford, OH and seven great-nephews, Barry Riggs of Springfield, IL, Darren Sederwall of West Orange, NJ, Grant Sederwall of Nixa, MO, Bryan Sederwall of Arvada, CO, Michael Garrett of Sweetwater, TN, Marc Garrett of Des Moines, IA and Scott Garrett of Las Vegas, NV. Visitation will be from 5-8 Monday evening at McNabb Funeral Home with services following at 10am Tuesday in the chapel. Graveside services will be held at 2pm Wednesday in the Pittsfield Cemetery in Pittsfield, IL. Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church in Pocahontas, AR.
