Obituary

Cherokee Village- Agnes Minnie Raguse Cox Gunter, 94, passed away Friday, August 31, 2018 at her home.

She was born July 7, 1924 in Otwell to the late Arthur and Elsie Steinegger Raguse. She worked for many years as an Administrator Assistant at a retail store in Texas, Arkansas State University Athletic Department and at Aycock Pontiac. Agnes was also a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, crocheting and cooking. She was a member of the Foothills Baptist Church in Cherokee Village.

She is survived by her children, Jan Cox Reynolds of Houston, Texas and Ron Cox of Cherokee Village; two grandsons and their wives, Ryan and Melissa Reynolds and Tyson and Amy Cox all of Houston; four great-grandchildren, Dylan Reynolds, Luke Reynolds, Tyson Cox Jr. and Bradyn Cox.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Acy Gunter; a brother, Herschel Raguse and a sister, Dorothy Jean Welch.

A graveside service to celebrate her life will be at 2:00 pm Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Kellers Chapel Cemetery with Jim Roberts officiating under the direction of Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home.
