Jonesboro- Agnes Marie Cowles, 77, passed away Monday, October 28, 2013 at St. Bernards Medical Center. She was born on May 4, 1936 at San Francisco, California to the late Perry J. and Elsie Waldbillig. She was a devout Catholic and a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church. She enjoyed flower gardening. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband, Robert Cowles; two sons and their wives, Gregory D. and Kathryn Cowles of Jonesboro and Danny L. and Leslie Cowles of Rogers; four grandchildren, Dustin L. Cowles, Peyton Pankey and Carson Pankey all of Rogers and Phoebe Cowles of Jonesboro; a sister, Byrnis Love of Marysville, Washington; as well as the many friends of the family who considered her a "Mother". He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Eric Waldbillig and Donald Waldbillig. A Mass of Christian burial will be 10:00 am, Monday, November 4, 2013 at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Father Jack Vu officiating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery under Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6:00 until 7:00 pm, Sunday, November 3, 2013 at Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home, 300 W. Matthews Ave. with rosary at 7:00 pm. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Greg Cowles, Danny Cowles, Fred Buhrmester, Dan Thrasher, Dustin Cowles and Eugene Merrill.
