Ada "Deloris" Young, 79, of Pocahontas passed away Sunday, April 28, 2024 at her home surrounded by her children.

She was born April 21, 1945 in Reyno to the late Dave and Leonia Nash. She was a Christian and was retired from Waterloo.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Dave and Leonia Nash; husband, Larry Young; seven sisters; and four brothers.

Deloris is survived by sons, Terry and Chris Peoples of Pocahontas; daughter, Cindy Kerley of Pocahontas; sister, Janie Cresap of Maynard; five grandchildren, Heather Junkersfeld, TJ Peoples, Cory Johnson, Jessica Johnson, and Jacob Kerley; thirteen great grandchildren, Angel, Logan, Lilly, Landon, Elizabeth, Lacy, Tyler, Katie, Erica, Missy, Jayden, Jaxson, and Jacelyn; and many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 1, 2024 from 5-7 PM in the chapel of McNabb Funeral Home.  A graveside service will be held Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 2 PM at Maynard Cemetery with Dr. Gary Gregory officiating with burial to follow.
