Jonesboro- Ada Dea Hill, 79, passed away Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at St Bernards Medical Center. She was born on September 28, 1934 in Memphis TN to Henry and Jessie Blackwood Jett. Mrs. Hill retired fromSouthwestern Bell, where she was a telephone operator. She enjoyed painting and going to yard sales with her friends. She will be remembered for her giving and kind personality and as a loving mother and grandmother. She is survived by three sons, John Hill Sr., Danny Hill (Julie) and Noel Hill all of Jonesboro; four grandchildren, John Hill Jr. and Mandy Pippinger (Robert) all of Jonesboro, Drew Hill of Mckensie TN, and Brianna Hill of Henderson TN; close friends, Doris Stephens , Joann Percifull, Katherine Lard, Susan Easley, Katherine Lard, Mildred Miller and Patti Burns. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred Hill; daughter-in-law, Reba Hill; siblings, Kathryn Barnhardt, Eugene Jett, Henry Jett, Alex Jett, John Jett, Jay Lee Jett, Betty Jett, and Floyd Jett Private services will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers lasting memorials may be given to a local food bank.
