Aaron Frank Jansen of Pocahontas, Arkansas passed away on July 24, 2026.

He was born on February 18, 1988, in Pocahontas, Arkansas to Ronnie Jansen and Karen Jansen.

There are some journeys that God only understands. At just 22 years old Aaron lost his central vision. It was a burden he did not choose, yet he carried it with courage, determination and strength. Though his eyes could no longer see the beauty of this world, he continued to touch the lives of those who loved him.

Aaron was preceded in death by his dad, Ronald Jansen; his paternal grandparents, Frank Jansen and Clarice Jansen; and his maternal grandparents, Dale and Jean Lewallen.

Aaron is survived by his mother, Karen Lewallen Jansen of Pocahontas; brother, Seth Jansen of Akron, Ohio and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Though our hearts are broken, we thank God for the gift of Aaron’s life and for the memories he gave us and the love that will never leave us.

Rest now Aaron, you are free. You can see and one day by God’s grace, we will see you again.

Visitation will be held 1:00 – 2:00 pm Saturday, August 1, 2026, with the funeral to begin at 2:00 pm in the McNabb Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers are Jon James, Chad Carlson, Casey Carlson, Jeremy Bergman, Justise Weisenbach, Logan Lewallen, Isaac James, Joey Bagwell and Alby Staton.
