Jonesboro- A D Loveless, 93, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2014 at St. Bernards Medical Center. He was born August 2, 1920 in Athens, Alabama to the late Elmus and Elizabeth Sanderson Loveless. Mr. Loveless served his country proudly in the Army Air Corp during World War II. He had worked at Merman's IGA, Blackwell Baldwin and Nebo Auto Center. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Gladys Green Loveless; a sister, Mary Loveless of Trumann and many nieces and nephews. He is also preceded in death by six brothers and sisters, Carter Loveless, Eugene Loveless, Nora Stewart, Cora Copeland, Margaret Bandy and Marie Phillips. A celebration of his life will be 2:00 pm, Sunday, April 27, 2014 at the Gregg-Langford Bookout Funeral Home with Kathy Holler and Cody Albritton officiating. Burial will follow at Philadelphia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm until time of service at the funeral home at 300 W. Matthews Ave in Jonesboro. Honored to serve as pallbearers are Todd Loveless, Steve Merriman, Charley Long, Elvis Taylor, Leon Gearhart and Roy Grant. Honorary pallbearers are the First Baptist Church Men's Fellowship Sunday School Class, Steve and Patsy Tricarico, Employees of Nebo Auto Center and drivers, Dr. Donald Guinn and Melba Thomas.
